Victoria Jamieson is the author and illustrator of several books for children, including the New York Times bestseller and Newbery Honor winner Roller Girl. You should read this book if you like mystery and adventure and comedy. The villain, Harriet, returns with her minions and Lucinda, and GW, Sunflower, and Barry work together to try and foil her evil plans. A worthy sequel to book 1 that will keep you reading to the last page! We're left wondering who will carry the evil banner now that...well, you'll have to read it yourself to find out what happens to all the characters!
This is the best books we have read, just like the Great Pet Escape. We laughed and laughed and laughed at Lucinda, the snake as she swallowed the minions.
We had been looking for a long time for a series my son would get into. He was 10ish when he discovered them and now at 12 he still goes back to them time and again. I hope they come out with more in the series.
My 7 year old immediately sat down and read this whole book. She loved it.
