About the Author
Author/artist Masashi Kishimoto was born in 1974 in rural Okayama Prefecture, Japan. After spending time in art college, he won the Hop Step Award for new manga artists with his manga Karakuri (Mechanism). Kishimoto decided to base his next story on traditional Japanese culture. His first version of Naruto, drawn in 1997, was a one-shot story about fox spirits; his final version, which debuted in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1999, quickly became the most popular ninja manga in Japan.

As a great fan of the anime, and as someone who has been watching and following the story of Naruto since 2007, I really recommend this book for all the fans out there who'd like and need to know more of the characters and jutsus and the world of Naruto! I really liked the information in it.. It covers up to volume 43 in the manga..
Amazing book! It is very factual and detailed. As it says it is a character data book with most all of the details on each character upto chapter 43 (around episode 138 in the anime). Interesting little facts about the characters. Nothing to mind blowing though. Perfect for every Naruto lover out there. I am collecting all the Naruto Manga and this is essential to the collection as it summarizes a lot of scattered information throughout the series. Also includes a short exclusive chapter available only in this book. At this price it would be silly not to buy if you love Naruto.
Really awesome! It's a thick book with a lot of character and story info, and went in-depth on things that weren't already given to us. Has plenty of newer stuff, like polls and interviews with characters and things, but it's also good for remembering little details in the series that might have been forgotten along the way.
It looks like someone previously had it because the front couple pages are close to falling out and has some dents and noticeable black scuffs plus it wasn't wrapped in plastic so I really don't think mine was new. Might send back or a refund would be fine too I guess. Other than that it's a good book Naruto fans would enjoy.
Some new stuff. A little info I didn't know about the characters but mostly that section was stuff I knew. It does have a really cool graph showing the proficiency of the main characters in various ninja stuff though. Those were cool to see. It was weird to see how small sakura's was even after all her training.There is a cool section, although it's rather small, about jutsu specifics. Including like all of Sasuke's new jutsu. I like it. Happy I bought it. It was nice to kind of read through the character summaries which sort of reads like the story is being told again.
This book contains information of almost every character. It is well written and the images chosen complemented the information. There are only a few pages in the front that are in color, but the rest is in black and white! Bought this book for my 11 year old son who is manga and anime lover and he was thoroughly satisfied and impressed! He has read and re read this book many times so far and isn't tired of it yet! I definitely recommend!!!
A kid loves it and it is a bible for him now.The layout is pretty rough. I have a hard time to read the book. Not sure how the kid manages reading this book but he might have a different brain :)
